I wish they took better pics, but for $750 bucks that car looks really good. Looks like theres a bunch of parts in the cab also, non oem steering wheel. I guess its so cheap because there is no title. I wonder what the story is behind this one.
It can be a pain in the butt if the owner cannot be found, if its out of the system you can get a new title but I still wouldnt based on not knowing the history. Someone someday could show up with the orginal title and make a claim for it. No title = parts car.:yes:If you want to build one from scratch the way you want it, that looks like a great deal. Don't know how the no title works in California. If you could get the cops to run the vin and give you a clean bill of health, maybe they'd title it.
Mike
uhh no glass on doors ....What would a seller try to hide by leaving the tarp on the car??? A moonroof? A meteorite penetrating through the roof, no top at all??
Jose get me the vin if you still have it I can do some research and try to contact the title holderTalked to him a couple months ago and gave me the VIN could get much info after that ....I passed but sawz all syndicate car !!??![]()
If the guy who has the car does a lein sale and you buy it, it's the same as having the title. Would be no problem with lein sale.It can be a pain in the butt if the owner cannot be found, if its out of the system you can get a new title but I still wouldnt based on not knowing the history. Unless the original title shows up, and you cant just do a lein sale because you have no title. If the guy who has the car does a lein sale and you buy it, it's the same as having the title. Would be no problem with lein sale.
I may be wro g but I believe even if the title shows up you can lein sale a car for non payment of storage. Let's say I store my car at your place then don't pay you send the owner a registered letter and list it in the news paper for I think it one month. If owner doesn't pay you can sale the car. And again please correct me if I'm wrongUnless the original title shows up, and you cant just do a lein sale because you have no title.

You know I doIf you have a connection to a tow service, I believe they can lien sale as long as it's in their impound yard...
Yes if he was storing it, or making repairs, purchased at a storage sale or even a home. I provided a link from DMV. Both of these will require proof. Based on the ad I didnt get the feeling that either of these were the case. Looks to be a project started and stored in a guys backyard, if so then no you cant do a lien sale "legally". Not saying you couldnt fill out the paperwork and get it through. DMV is a mess but you set yourself up for big issues later. Even if the car is out of the DMV system big problems can arise down the road and the new paper trail leads back to you. Always better to know the full history or as much as you can.I may be wro g but I believe even if the title shows up you can lein sale a car for non payment of storage. I may just offer him that if he gets back to meI'd give him $500 cash for it (if the other bucket seat is in there) and worry about the possibility of a title later.....
