At some point over the years, this '63 Acadian picked up '62 side trim.

u got it 62 Trim. Purple tint is gone now. off to DMV tomorrow
Got My YOM in had and ready to pay those Taxes. Hopefully title will read 1963 Acadian Beaumont

Fender ornaments are on part #5722546-r 5722545-l
i dont think ill ever find the hood script so i think ill use the 64 beaumont trunk script for hood. little different but only a few will know. Quick to pick up the side trim.

which emblems? the beaumont on rear quarter
if i find the correct 63 side trim the 62 side trim will go

Yes sir, Im converting my 62 nova to a acadian wagon. Hood emblem would be cool too

Sweet looking Acadian, I've always like the looks of the rear tail lights.
Keep the Acadian they are getting harder and harder to find know a days
and I live in Canada !!!!!

I'm looking for a 66-67 Acadian hardtop if anyone knows of one.
Maybe you'll have better luck finding one for me then I will.

anyone have a timeline on acadian/beaumont?am i correct in assuming the beaumont name moved to the chevelle platform in 64?

also the beaumont the middle trim level between invader and canso?

In 1962, there were only two models of Acadian, Beaumont and Invader. In 1963, they added Canso between those two. You are correct that the Beaumont name moved to the Chevelle platform car in 1964, but that car line was also called Acadian thru 1965. The Chevy II sized Acadian line consisted of just Canso and Invader in 1964 with no convertibles or hardtops. In 1965, both Canso Sport Deluxe and Canso Sport Coupes were added with Invaders continuing as the lower cost Acadians. It remained that way thru 1967 when Acadian production ended in Canada. The 1968 to 1971 Acadians were built in the U.S. and exported for sale in Canada.

i have a lead on the 63 trim if i get ill pm you on 62 trim. i dont have hood emblem ive been looking for it with no luck not even broken ones out there.
