i bought the six cylinder power manual a few weeks ago, i read it and now i have a couple questions. in the intake ports of the head can i cut out all of the head bolt material or do i leave a little bit? and in the exhaust ports same thing. and in the exhaust manifold cut away all the material or leave a little for strength? thanks

If your looking to install a lump ort kit to the intake then yes the whole boss gets removed.Many just reshape the boss If not doing that install. There is a small gain to be had when the boss is removed.But you gain much more if you
in stall the bolt-in lump port kit. As for the exhaust Most swap the a later 194
head with the divided ports.
