I looking at the 17in CL205's I am thinking of the following wheel and tire sizes let me know what you know will work. i can roll the rear lip with no problem just want to get close to the sizes that aree known to work. I know that i should check my car but think that i can get a good idea this way. . i did check the search but would only like to get advice from people know what works

Thanks for your help in advance

Thats a wide front tire! We got 17 x 8 's front and rear with +25 ofset which eqauls about an inch. front tires are 225 40 /17 and rears are 255 45 / 17. The fronts almost rubbed the wheel well bolt and the frame at the back of the tire.

Im running 17x7 4 1/4"b.s. TTII's in front with 235 40 17's with the dropped spindles, the ear where the tie rod mounts to the spindle will be very close to the wheel. An 8" wheel wouldnt work for me. Hope this helps:)

i would recommend atleast a 6"bsp, on the rear rims since its a 9.5" wide and hopefully your inner fender lips are rolled or trimmed..

the front you probably caint go more than .25" bsp with a 245 just because of the tie rod placment is moved further downwards resulting in stuffing the rim against it...

with a dropped spindle and a wide to you might run the risk of hitting the fender lip at full compression. there is a bolt that holds the fender liner right in the middle of the fender and it may come in contact with. possibly during tight turns..

I don't think you will get a 245/45-17 in front without modifying the back of the wheel well where it attaches to the fender. It will be real tight if you do. A 234/45 or a 245/40 should fit though.

ya it looks like iam going to go with

17*7 with a 4.25 bs and a 225 or 235 /45 tire
17*8 with a 5in bs and a 255/45 tire

I think that this will work with the drop spindles and shoundt have too mant issues.

You can put the 17*8 in front, no problems. That will give you the option of a 245/40 if you ever want. I have 255/45 in back and 235/45 in front. Both on 17*8 inch wheels.
