First of all, there is very little that is 'original' about this car except, perhaps, the interior. Second, why does a car with less than 15K that was stored in a garage for 50 years (only driven for 2 years?) need new floor pans, lower rear quarters and new bumpers. No mention about the missing SS side trim. The seller says there is documentation to prove the mileage. This is a no reserve auction.

Nice find Bob, I have one comment. That's not what a original 14,000 mile car's undercarriage would look like. The mileage claim on the that car is irrelevant.

Yes, that pinch weld at the rocker has seen better days, the frame rails have been boxed and welded too. This isn't an original 14K car, its just a lackluster restoration.

Nope! All Chevy IIs of this era were stamped by Fisher Body as V/8s on the cowl tag whether they ended up to be or not. The VIN tells the truth. This SS was born a six cylinder, thus the 737 VIN.
