  2. oil pick up does line up

    I bought the v8 swap kit from chevy 2 only. The oil pick up they sent does line up with any available bolt holes. As anyone had to mod the bracket ?
  3. '63 v8 swap flywheel and starter change

    I am swapping this weekend. I am pulling the 6 for the v8. I read that is ideal to change the fly wheel to 153 tooth and high performance starter, is this true? Can i use the stock flywheel and starter from mid 80 350 in first gen?

    Do i need to buy mounts for the v8 swap? or can i use the mounts on the engine i pulled with 700r4? I forgot buy them and was planning to swap these weekend?

    I am swapping a v8 into my '63. I have the complete kit from chevy2only. I have also read, that getter a smaller flywheel 153 tooth and high performance starter is needed for the swap. Is required? Does make life easy on the install?

    I am swapping a v8 into my '63. I swapped the oil pump and have it bolted on to the engine. I am trying to install the oil pick up tube. The tube seems to be to large for the oil pump. Has one installed a v8 swap kit and had trouble with the oil pump and the front pick up?
