Hey I'm new nova crew! I'm 23 @ the proud owner of a 1974 Nova 2 door coupe. Although this post dosent directly relate to my nova, but involves a power gain I accidentally achieved with my camaro checking my vaccum advance. I'm losing vacuum somewhere on my 86 camaro w/010 block 350. I have a...

My 73 coupe has an aftermarket gauge claiming 50 psi of oil pressure in park, but the second you put it in reverse or drive, it drops to around 5 psi, and only climbs to around 25 at most when driving. Any ideas why? It’s been like this for a while. If I put it back into park afterwords it still...

I'm in the process of building a 383 stroker and I ordered a set of Howard's Cam 91164N hydraulic roller lifters from Summit back in May. Unfortunately due to covid the ship date keeps getting pushed (now in November). Anybody have a recommendation for a good alternative lifter?

  11. 3rd Generation Chevy II/Nova's
Hello everyone. Just started this thing up on Saturday. Due to budgetary constraints and limited time from a Navy life, it took a year and a half to complete. Hand made from start stand casters to air filter. It wasn't a perfect start, but I've at least gotten through the cam break in. I cropped...

Even plain black valve covers with the fins on...

I just completed a swap in my 77 from a six to a 350 sbc carb. Went to fire it finally and I'm not getting any compression in any cylinders. The 350 was torn down to the block and had been rebuilt not too long ago so I don't think all the rings could be bad. Thinking its the timing gear settings...
