Hello everyone! I have a 1963 convertible (not an SS) that was a WI car - during it's normal life - and a MN car as a collector. It is REALLY rusted out underneath...so, if anyone has information on how to fix the sagging unibody, I'm all ears! Years ago, someone welded steel tubing in the...

Hi all, I'm brand new to the site. I'm investigating restoring my dad's first car; a 1965 ChevyII wagon. It's been stored outside on blocks for the past 30 years and has plenty of rust. My first order of business is to determine if the bones (frame) is still intact to determine if this is a...

Hello, Anyone use Eastwood's Rust Encapsulator? I'm thinking about using it on parts of my floor pan that have some pitting, but are structurally sound. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, I have a small area in the rear floor pan around the drain plug that's rusted out. I have the replacement pan and am strongly considering doing this myself (I've never welded before). My main question is with such a small patch, about 8" x 8", is flux core okay? thanks.

I'm in the process of sandblasting my sub-frame on my '71 Nova and getting pretty close to being done. I am planning on painting it with something to keep my work protected and looking nice. I was just wondering what is the best way to go as far as paints and primers are concerned? I've seen...

I just bought a 1970 nova with a GM 502 ci engine and double pumper four barrel carb. The floor panels are rusted through, but the body looks fine. I peeled back the paint in some place to check for rust and none so far. Was it a good buy at 5,200 dollars? And what maintenance should I do...
