I have a Heidts front clip I’m putting on my 66 chevy II, and am installing the hood hinge brackets. My question is, do the hood hinge brackets go behind or in front of the inner fender, or does it matter? I have them in front of the inner right now but I don’t know if that’s right after looking...

Hi Nova-community, I've seen some older posts about this but I'm wondering if there are any updates. I have a first-gen 62 Chevy II. I'm replacing the front clip with a Heidt's Mustang II kit. I love the way 6 cylinder motors sound with a dual exhaust and so my plan is to replace the...

Hey all, i'm looking to add some subframe connectors to finish off my 1970 Nova suspension/chassis. The car has Hotchkis springs front and back, refreshed balljoints and bushings all around, and a heavy swaybar. I'm looking to try and get the car to feel more modern/solid, the goal is more of a...

I put a Heidt's front clip on a 1963 Nova and for some reason all the holes line up for the core support but the fenders are about a 1/4 to half inch higher then the holes for mounting them on the core support. Am I doing something wrong or do you just suck the front bolts down till the fender...

I am getting ready to do some work on my 63 convertible . I have a TCI front clip already , wondering if anyone has recommendation on a rear clip ( leaning towards TCI just because I like their front clip and thought it would be a good match) . I do plan on mini tubs and figuring out a way to...

This just happened on my way to work the other day. Just hit a pothole going about 40MPH and snapped the lower control arm. I was only about .5 miles from home so I was able to limp home and park the car. Needless to say, I'm not too impressed with Heidts right now.

Hey guys check out the new front clip we just built for my Acadian. It's mustang II based with Wilwood Pro Spindles and custom steering arms to eliminate any bump steer. I also have it set up with Bilstein Coil Overs and a SBC. It's sitting in epoxy right now. What do you think? More...

I was wondering if anybody could give me any info on exactly how the front shocks mount at the top cup of a Heidt's frontend for my 62 with the non coilover style.

I have a 64 nova with a heidts front end, manual steering, and used the heidts steerign hook-up kit. The only problem I have is that there is a vibration that I can feel at time in the steering wheel. Typically steering units have rag joints or soem sort of vibration reducer. Do you think...
