    I have 1978 nova 496bb 400 tranny with a 10 bolt 8.5 ring with limited slip. I'm looking to beef up the rear end. To change it to posi would be around 500 bucks.     so i blew my trani on my nova when i upgraded my rear i put a 3.73 posi from an 2.56 open had it for two days i guess too much rear for my trani so now im stuck with a car that dont go i was runnin really hot with the th 350 i need an extra gear. any trani suggestions?????

    Hello i need an 8.5 10 bolt housing for my 71 nova. i was told to just get one outa a 70s nova at the yard and it should bolt right in..but i was wondering are Pontiac ventura or buick skylark rears interchangeable for my nova also?
