Hey there, my friendly SNS members and family!! I wanted to hear opinions on these seemingly awesome interior door panels from Big Wig Race Cars as I'm contemplating trying to save some time on my build and see at least 80 hrs into building something like these (with any close resemblance) but...

I’m restoring my wife’s grandmother’s car. The LH door latch relay, the internal spring that returns the door handle back to the neutral location has broken. Other than that the relay works. To fix the spring will require that the relay will need to be replaced. Trying to find a replacement, I...

Nova People, I've started stripping the passenger side door. At the bottom skin pinch, to no surprise there are a few small rust craters. My question is what would be the best approach to repairing these craters? I do not want to put new skins on because the rest of the door has only surface...

Hi, I am working on a 1971 Nova 2 door and found a door off a 1968 Nova, has anyone moved the lock so it works with the 69-72 door panels? is there any other differences between the 2 doors Thanks

I managed to wrestle my hinges off my doors today. Took lots of heat to get the Philips bolts off. In the process I melted out most of the factory plastic bushings. They were wore out anyway and I already had new brass bushings and pins. I tried driving out the pins a bit with a punch with...

Hello again, I'm searching for the window assembly mechanism for the passanger side 2 door 78 nova. The window is there and presently held up by vice grips. I found one on eBay that fits up to 74. Does anyone know if this will work in my 78 of where I can find this whole mechanism?

I have an all original 73 nova custom and the door panels on it where kind of rough so I bought another used set. They were originally white and someone painted them black, which is the color I need, but some of it is coming off so I want to re-spray them. They're currently gloss black but it...

My passenger window fell. When I removed the door panel I noticed that the part of the regulator that has the rollers in it has separated from the metal channel on the bottom of the window. How does this channel attach to the regulator? I don't see any weld or glue traces anywhere. Would epoxy work?
  9. 4th Generation Nova's
I am currently in the process of rebuilding my 78 nova and as expected on a car this old the weatherstrip/seal that attaches to the outside of the door and goes against the window is completely deteriorated. However, I have not been able to find this piece for sale anywhere and getting one of a...

Hi, Any tricks to replacing the door/ trunk weatherstripping on my 1975 Nova? Picked up 3M adhesive remover and yellow adhesive, but I'm not sure how the old stuff should come off. Is it glued and snapped in place? Thanks!

Finally got my baby shined up for the summer, but the wheels could use some work after 30+ years of sitting in a garage. Here are my questions: Did the wheel colors match the car? I am assuming they did but the wheels look more creamy next to the ermine white, could be grime, just checking...
