The shift cable on my '66 broke and i need to order a new one. I have a floor mounted hurst pro-matic shifter and a th350. What length cable should i get? the one that is on there looks like its probably 5 ft and is looped around pretty good. What do you guys run or what works the best?

Since I got my car back from a professional manifold/carb install (Holley S/A) I've gotten the sense that the car is not automatically downshifting "as requested". Looked at the kickdown/detent cable at the carb and noticed that the nut/bolt used to adjust the cable is loose and not tightened...

so the tip where i link up my tv cable to my carb is damaged any know where i can get a new one?.. or do i have to buy a hole new tv cable... witch i dont want to do cause this ones already on the trans...any help????
