I am looking at a gear vendors over drive for my 78 with a 400 tranny. Has anyone use/ installed these before? I'm looking for some advice/comments/opinions before I make this big purchase. Do you know if you have to do any major modifications in order for it to fit?

i have a sb400 4 bolt main block and have alumn pro 1 dart heads (dont know the specs) they were sold to me for $200 so i had to buy them. but i want to make 600hp on pump gas, can anyone give me any advice on building the bottom end? i have about $2k to spend on the rotating assembly.
