I inherited an 70 Nova it sat for almost 30 years. Got it running, but it’s burring almost a quart of oil every 100 miles. It would be worth it to pull the 307 engine and do an overhaul or just swap it with an 350?

Found a 3970010 350 engine on craigslist. It's a 4-bolt crank, has 997 cylinder heads. Probably needs a rebuild but rotates freely. The guy wants $400. Is that a reasonable price?

I've got a 74 nova with a 250 L6/3 spd Saginaw/8.5 10 bolt. I've looked at this a couple of ways and want to build the car in segments as money allows starting with the engine. With that being said I want to run the 3 speed for a while. It’s in great shape and shifts smooth, has a Hurst Indy...

Hi everybody. I blew my engine about a year ago when I first got my Nova. Today I bought a 1969 350 v8. I was really excited and happy because the engine appears to be in great shape with very low miles. BUT, the owner (who gave me the shop paperwork) said that it was bored to.80. I was excited...

I have a top end built 350 in my 77 Nova. My question is what pistons, rings, rods, bearings, and crankshaft would I need to build this engine to withstand a 200 shot of No2 approximately 10 times a month during the racing season? It would be most helpful if you could include jegs part...

I just completed a swap in my 77 from a six to a 350 sbc carb. Went to fire it finally and I'm not getting any compression in any cylinders. The 350 was torn down to the block and had been rebuilt not too long ago so I don't think all the rings could be bad. Thinking its the timing gear settings...
