Hi, I'm Alex. I'm 39, originally from NYC but now live in SW Connecticut. My wife is disabled and my 4-year-old son is disabled and autistic. Most days I act as a single parent holding a full-time job, so it's hard to find time to think or even work on my Nova. Here's the story: I have a...
  2. 1968-74 Novas *WANTED*
Hi all, Having a tough time finding a solid car in the area for the past year. I'm not looking for a show car, definitely not a rust bucket, but something that is a pretty solid start which I can improve slowly. If you have anything contact me with your location and what it is you have...

Has anyone found a 1 piece headliner that fits a 1969? I know TMI is making them for almost every other GM Muscle Car from the same era. I can find them for 1974 and newer Novas, but I am not sure if a '74 headliner would fit in a '69.

I am in the process of putting a crate 383 stroker in my 1969 nova. I am trying to find front marker bezels with "383" instead of my "350". I checked Classic Industries but they don't appear to carry a "383" bezel. Can anyone direct me to where I can find some? thanks for your help!
  5. Originality
Hi Everyone: I am trying to retain and refurbish my original 69 Heater Control box. I bought the car with two of the control knob arms broken off, so I bought replacement slides/arms. I checked the forum and no previous posts of how to disassemble the who control box/module or replace...
  6. Drivetrain & Performance
Hi everybody. I blew my engine about a year ago when I first got my Nova. Today I bought a 1969 350 v8. I was really excited and happy because the engine appears to be in great shape with very low miles. BUT, the owner (who gave me the shop paperwork) said that it was bored to.80. I was excited...

Hey guys, I'm new to the world of novas and to the world of forums so please bear with me :) Here's the rundown: About six weeks ago I bought a 69 nova off a gentleman out in baltimore. Ran great and needed a little TLC but as I am planning on eventually doing a full rebuild I wasn't too...

Hi, first post, so nice to meet you. I bought a 1969 Nova, far from cherry but a good starter: $1000 for a running muscle car with a brand new paint job and sony stereo. The previous owner had noted a lot of electrical problems and it would only start in reverse. Fixed that right up, neutral...

I was recently riding around in my car, and someone closed my trunk a little harder than usual, and now the trunk lock won't turn to let me open it. I had to take the back seats out to get the girl's purse out of the trunk, and let me tell you, it was the biggest pain ever. Anyway, changing...
  12. 3rd Generation Chevy II/Nova's
Hey guys. My name's Ryan and I just bought a '69 Nova SS Clone. The owner didn't do much of the work himself, and didn't have a whole lot to tell me about the car. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and absolutely love it. I looked at the VIN, and found out a little bit about the car...
