History
Started pieces the car together with parts and made a fun street cruiser
My 1973 Nova, the car had been sitting in my uncles backyard since the 80’s. Few months ago just started putting the Sub Frame in from a 78 Four Door Nova donor car we got for $200. Reused the power steering system from the 6 Cyl. Car. Put together a otherwise stock 350 in it with the TH350 from the donor car and made a nice cruiser with the car!

Please clean and paint that master. But really - good job. Reminds me of my first Nova ('73).

The 73 was a rear steer like my 72, the 78 subframe gave you a superior front steer setup, like a second generation Camaro. How hard was that swap, did you have to change much?

I would also add, your car would be an excellent candidate for a semi flat black, Rustolium repaint? This fish oil based paint works very well on slightly rusty sheet metal, and protects well on a vehicle that will be driven in a more or less primer state. Just be sure to treat the entire surface with phosphoric acid first, and wash it really well before the first coat. When allowed to thoroughly cure, the flat black can be blocked out like any other primer and recoated with whatever topcoat you like.
