General Information

Satin Hot rod black (Kirker)
My options
I bought the car in January of 2014 and work on it for almost 2 years to get to where it is now, I did all the body work and paint on the car myself as well as I assembled it back together, The car has only been owned by 2 persons before me. It was a 350/350 car from factory.
Drive train credits go to Ronnie Wright in Anderson SC that put together the engine/transmission and rear end for me, I have chosen all parts that are in this car today and made it my vision.
1972 Chevrolet Nova (Satin Hot rod black (Kirker))

My engine is a 454 4 bolt main that was stroked to a 496 8.1L balanced and weight matched, it has all top of the line racing parts from SkipWhite Performance from TN (too long to list) with an 11 to 1 compression running on 93 pump gas and out puts 625 HP. Quick fuel carb 830 mechanical secondaries with complete MSD system. All front accessories and pulley system are from ConceptOne. Has 2'' primary and 3.5'' collector Hooker headers with a full and true 3'' dual exhaust with one chamber Flowmasters dropped before the rear end. The cooling comes from a Champion 4 row radiator with a low profile super high rpm electric fan.
The car was stripped completely and got new floor pans, sound deadener, under matt and vinyl carpet. For the seats I keep the rear seat (was cream color) and dyed it black then I ordered 2 racing bucket seats to replace the front bench. The dash is all original but I added the oil/volt/temp white gauges to be true to the engine. I also added the dash cap. The door panels are original and dyed in black too. I don't have a headlinner yet on the car.
Body was in decent shape and it was Placer gold color from factory, previous owner painted once in red, then I bladed it to bare metal, worked on bad spots then sprayed with DTM black primer, sanded/blocked it, more body work and then 2k high build up black and grey primers, more datails were done and final block, last the car was painted with Kirker hot rod satin black paint, it has racing stripes in metallic red single stage paint.
As I see no place for transmission I will enter that here;
This car was an automatic 350 and was converted to a 1970 Muncie 4 speed that was taking apart and completely rebuilt with new parts, new bellhousing and a new McLeod red racing clutch.
My suspension is mostly factory, it was taken complete apart cleaned and painted and put it back together using Red High Energy Suspension bushing and mounts all around with new shocks.
Wheel and Tire
Rims/wheels are Weld Racing 15x6 with 225 on the front and 15x8 with 265 on the back with BF Goodrich tires.
I have disk on the front and drums on the back.
