History
Ordered new in spring of 1971.
Here are some interesting production numbers for the 1971 Nova: of the 194,878 total production, 143,235 were 2-dr sedans, 99,950 were V-8's, and only 7015 were SS's. So based on that number alone, my Nova is one of only 3 1/2% of the total produced. I guess that makes it even more unique. The only production numbers that are smaller for the 3rd gens was the introduction year of 1968, but 1969 & 1970 were the largest, and huge numbers.

Changed to 14X7 Rally II's which were first introduced in 1971. These would have come on the Nova had I originally ordered the Rally wheels. 2 are date correct for '71, and 2 are '72. I've had these almost as long as I've had the Nova. These have been chemically stripped, powdercoated, and cleared, and are a pretty close match for the original Argent Silver.

Back in the day, I dressed her up with 15X8 & 14X7 Cragar Screamers. I spent the last 5 years trying to locate 4 14X7's, and I now have a set waiting to be installed. These were a very limited production aluminum wheel, and are almost impossible to find in any condition.
