    Fyi, I ended up trying some cheapo block huggers. they fit with plenty of room.

    Yes for sure! If you are staying on the mild side of a ls those are good options without computer control. One of the issues is the cable on those if you are using factory style efi setups.

It's just gonna be a cruizer but might be subjected to a burnout or two..lol.. the part that seems scary to me is the upper links that are just mounted and plated to the floor.
