hidden vins

I feel confident that this number in the trunk rail is only a part number- again, THANKS for saving me the time and trouble of trying to find it!

3rd Gen Novas have the 'hidden' vin stamped 2x on the firewall, and both stampings are covered by the heater box. They are stamped on 2 distinct sections of the body, ie; 1 on the firewall section and one on the body section where they are spot welded together. If you look close they are strategically stamped on either side of a specific weld line...

There are no other 'hidden' vin stamps, nothing on top of the firewall (that's a Camaro thing), and nothing in the trunk rails / floor (they are both partial part numbers) and nothing on doors, fenders or floors.
