Drip Rail Shave?

Getting a little ahead of myself but thinking about shaving the drip rails from my 63 HT. I do have all the trim so not the reason for removal. No other side trim will be used on the car. Would like to see a couple of pics from those that have done a first gen and if you would do it again. Car will be a twin turbo Drag Week style car so not a restoration by any means. Thanks
