72 350 4sp Nova

Very mild stock rebuild, may have a small cam and does run headers but has the stock iron 4v intake and Quadrajet. My question is the stock iron intake worth changing to an aluminum? I know its heavier, but would a normal person feel any performance difference w/just an intake swap?
