Although it isn't a traditional Vanity License Plate it is a vanity to me. In my county the license plates designated the population size by the first number on an original plate. The letter designated the weight of the vehicle and of course the last number was the numerical order when you purchased the plate. My county was "59" back in 1965 and I was lucky to have found this plate. It's original and in Georgia we are allowed to use a original tag if we fill out the correct paperwork. So, this is going to be restored and assigned to my '65 Nova when I get ready for it. I guess Vanity is how you look at it.

That's cheap. Ours started at $100 more then 20 years ago, $200 quite a few years ago and are currently $330. I've got 3 personalized plates(vanity plates). I also have this one from back in the day that only up to 6 characters were allowed.

Mine says VRKLEMT (verklempt) That is yiddish for overwhelmed. My motorcycle is a ZX14r and the plate is OY VEY which is yiddish for 'oh my' basically. My grampa spoke a lot of yiddish.

Yes, I am. The main reason this occurs is that the pictures are too big and need to be resized smaller by the poster.

Another issue that I have run into: SSL

SNS uses https (http over SSL), and some browsers have gotten more strict about enforcing that all content on the page is also delivered via https. If you have an image hosted somewhere other than SNS, and the link to that image is an http URL...the browser won't display it.

Browsers used to be more tolerant of the mix of https and http on a single page, but as that can be a security hole, they're getting picky about it.

I had a bunch of images from my personal site linked here and other places, but all those old http references don't work now.

One simple workaround is (if you can) right click and select 'view image', because that will be displayed by itself...and not as a sub-part of an https page.
