63 Nova on a corvette chassis
I see Jay Leno has a Nova on a corvette chassis. Has anyone else done anything like this? If so what kind of magician do you have to be to make this happen?

Does Leno own Buttera's old Novette? I have been looking all over for info on it with no luck. It was one of my favorite Nova's.

The worst thing you can do to a car is alter the wheel openings that much. IMO

^^^^^^^^ I'd have to agree
My car has a C4 front end(see pics in my sig), Wayne Due made a clip that utilized early C4 suspension and there have been a few guys that have run the C4 IRS on early II's. "stangs4sale" has one on ebay right now.
The front and rear can be done without narrowing IF you are very selective with wheel offsets and tire sizes.

Ya... On the one hand, someone put a bunch of time and effort into it. On the other hand...the finished product just doesn't 'work' together.
As for the Toronado, that is written up in a bunch of places. They did an episode of 'Rides' on the buildup. Lots of engineering...lots of power.

Twin turbo, C5 transaxle...looks bone stock from the outside.

I wonder if that is it? Looking at the magazine pics it looks like the rear opening was altered on Buttera's exactly the same?? Sure is close anyway.
