Mallory Rev Limiter Tach

Got a steal on this thing, but I cant remember the wiring, I have an HEI Dist, and the wire colors on this thing are

white
black
red
green

Any Help?

white = lights
black = ground
red = 12v (ign switched)
green = -coil (tach output on HEI)

I had one of those once. That rev limiter is definitely not a soft touch. It made my car bounce all over the place.

I had one in like 82 its effective if not gentle
I have a good tach now, but it doesnt limit revs, I missed 2nd a month or 2 ago, tached to like 7800

thank GOD it was a SBC or it would been shelled

I have a tach exactly like that except it's made by American Scientific. Goes back to the 1970's.

I recently purchased one like that at a garage sale, and person said if mallory does not show it then try summit on the web to get info as he thought they might have the info there, I personally do not know what wires go where either so the info you have should be beneficial to my relative that is putting project together. another question I have but am new to this site and don't know exactly where to find the right place to ask the question if someone can point me in right direction it would be appreciated question will 66 and 67 nova headlight buckets interchange? I know the bezels , fenders and grills are different but maybe the buckets are the same if you know or can point me in the right place to find out it would be appreciated....ardell

Gonna be hard to get the shift light on with the rev limiter set lower!!!
