68- console wiring location help!

I will be installing my carpet on monday does the console wiring harness go under the carpet or is it on the top. Also does the front console bracket go on top of the carpet or is it notched out. The carpet was out of my car when I bought it so I am not sure how everything is routed.

jason 68 L78;

The wiring goes under the carpet. I am not sure about the bracket.
