Steve's Nova Site is an automotive enthusiast website dedicated to the 1962 - 1979 Chevrolet Nova, Chevy II and Acadian automobiles. We work together to preserve, restore, drive, show, race and provide fellowship for these classic cars. This is one of the best places to find information about parts, rebuilding, restoration and racing. This website is not affiliated with GM, General Motors or Chevrolet in any capacity.
ive been really eyeing the old h-style shifters that came in chevelles and camaros..i actually wanted to know if these came in 68-72 novas..i thought ive seen them before but cant find any true pics in a nova...
i like the shifter alot and was wondering if it were possible to some how find one of these into my car..do they make all the pieces??? etc.. etc...
To the best of my knowledge, they never made it into the Nova. You can put a Camaro console in you Nova, then the horseshoe will fit in with no problems. The Camaro console is longer that the Nova one, so it won't fit with a bench seat, but will fit nicely with buckets.
Randy (that's what I remember from years ago!)
