Ads In Wrong Section

Q: Why are there so many parts wanted ads in the '62-67 Chevy II's Wanted' section ??? Shouldn't these have been moved to the appropriate parts wanted section some time ago ???

Hi Tony,
If you report the ad, you can give an explanation as to why it is being reported, and we will fix it.

Hi Steve,

Of a total of 13 ads currently shown in the '62-67 Chevy II's Wanted' section - 10 are want-ads for parts and not cars.

Not sure why you are asking me to report each individual ad.....

One would think it to be more time effective for a Moderator to simply move the ads that are obviously incorrectly suited for that particular section.

It is the click of a button to report. If something bothers a user all they need to do is report it, and we will look into it. We don't read every post or ad on the site, so sorry the mods and I don't live up to everyone expectations.

But, if you took the time to read, count, and start this thread about misplaced ads, wouldn't it have been as easier to report 'em.

For all users, if you want to do your part in the moderating scheme of things, try reporting a thread or post when you see something that isn't right.

Actually, time is of no issue for me at the moment.

Therefore, I've PM'd each member that inadvertently placed their ad in the wrong section informing them of such while kindly suggesting that they may wish to delete and re-post in the correct section.

Great Job, maybe you would like to assist in moderating the classified ads area.

Remember, it is not the mods that mis-post those ads, and I wasn't referring to time either, I was referring to what would have been easier.

Yes two thumbs up to those that corrected their posts. Ads that are incorrectly posted risk being removed from the classified ads.
