I don't think you are missing anything, but there are lots of ways to find or see all your posts. One way is click on your username in this thread and select find more posts by....
There are more ways that you can probably figure out. The other forum you are referring to may not be using the same software, and if it is, it may have an add-on installed that isn't here.
