What's the best way to clean this Eddy Intake manifold?

Depends on what finish you want. If you are just wanting it to look new, just media blast it with fine to medium sand or walnut shells.

I don't own a sand blaster, I just looking to get it looking like new.

A tooth brush and a spray can of carb cleaner will go a long way toward making it look newer.

You can get whitelightning aluminum cleaner from napa.just wet your intake down,spray or brush cleaner on And let it sit for 5to8 minutes and hose off.works really good

I glass bead blast mine then I use a aluminum wheel cleaner with acid. Cleans intakes well if they are statin finished. I use the Duraglas brand wheel cleaner

I use Oven cleaner.

If it can clean the oven, it sure can clean an intake manifold ....

You can also boil it in anti-freeze. About 25 minutes at 190 deg. take it out, hose it off, done.

I use the oven cleaner too, go to one of the dollar stores and just get the cheap stuff.

once clean - you might want to clear coat it - I used Eastwoods Diamond Clear on mine after I cleaned it with a toothbrush and the above cleaners - still had some stains and the such - so I got a friend to bead blast it....

Have it bead blasted if it not polshed. Cost I guess around 25/35 bucks. Then clear coat it with a non yellowing clear.

Hmmm, never heard of that before, you use it straight or partially diluted??.. Thanks..

X's whatever on glass beading it. Rotojet first to get the oil off of it, let it dry and glass bead it. Clearcoating is a great idea for long term appearance.
