1976 nova

Getting started on my 76 nova. Lucky I got on that the only rust I have is in the floor pans. The ones in mine are shot so they have to be replaced. I bought a new 76 ss in 76 and I'm trying to build this one to the same look. Will post pics as I go thru the process. Any advice will be greatly accepted.

Progress

Well now I have to put off my work on my dream build. Messed my back up pretty bad at work trying to move a portable generator by myself. Little did I know it had flat spots on the tires from sitting in the same place for so long. Now I'm off work and flat of my back for awhile till they can fix the damage. This should give me time to plot my venture. Also gather up all the parts. I got the complete lock set, the grill ss emblem, SS steering wheel assembly, and the tires for it. List of what I still need is:
1. Floor pans for front and rear.
2. SS grill with lights
3. Bumper gaurds front and rear.
4. Seat covers front and rear.
5. Seat belts in black.
6. All interior plastic parts.
7. Head liner.
8. Center console with shift parts.
9. Bezel for Gage's on dash.
10. Dash recovered.
11. Bead blast all frame body and interior of car and have it painted.
12. Blast and paint car to black inside and out.
13. Refinish wheels.
14. Rework the engine has only 2000 miles on it but was a botch job if I ever seen one. No pride in workmanship at all.
I'm sure there is more I need and a lot more that I will find that needs to be done. I want this to be as close to,like new as I can get it. Just hope the old back gets better soon. Will post everything as I go

Hi, I see you have parts in that list that in my opinion are way harder to find than the grille... a 76 headliner (composite board with vinyl), the bumper guards and strips (you will have to adapt your bumpers, probably), the console with shifter (if its standard shift its ultra rare). You say they are on their way... you are so lucky!

I myself have three extra Rally grilles, and 3 or 4 park lenses... I would be happy to sell but shipping from Mexico is high...
