Steve's Nova Site is an automotive enthusiast website dedicated to the 1962 - 1979 Chevrolet Nova, Chevy II and Acadian automobiles. We work together to preserve, restore, drive, show, race and provide fellowship for these classic cars. This is one of the best places to find information about parts, rebuilding, restoration and racing. This website is not affiliated with GM, General Motors or Chevrolet in any capacity.
After looking at a dozen or so Nova's, I finally brought one home this past Thanksgiving weekend.
I purchased a 1970 Nova. The previous owner gave up on a 6+ year project. The drivetrain is 95% complete...however, the body is a different story. No major cancer or anything to deal with, just the typical spots on door corners and wheel well openings...nothing some TLC and a fresh coat of paint to bring her back.
I'm embarrassed to say this is the only picture I have. In the PO driveway before I drove it onto the trailer.
Body looks to be in decent shape. I think a weekend with a DA and a roll of sand paper will really show me what I have to address. Just a couple of spots.
