Found this in Tularosa New Mexico last weekend. Stopped to take a pic and a guy walking by ask what I was doing next to the car. We talked a bit and he said the owners son had died and the car is for sale. The lot it is sitting on has a for sale sign on it. Owners name is Ysidro Garcia, the guy I talked to said he was in the phone book but I couldn't find him. I was just driving through cuz I was in a hurry so I didn't pursue any further.
As for the car I took a quick look inside...everything is there and looks to be in decent shape. Original radio still in place and all trim and knobs are still there. I saw bubbling paint behind the rear wheels but all at the very bottom. I think there was some minor front end damage but didnt look real close. Had a home made trailer hitch that came through the back bumper. Sides and doors looked straight and glass was all there. At a glance it looked solid.
Car is located behind either the Dollar General or the Family Dollar on the main street though town. Both stores are there...I don't remeber which it was but they are close together on the same side of the street.
