Manual drum brake booster?

Has anyone ever added a brake booster to a 4 wheel drum setup? Was there any noticeable improvement? Is it worth the upgrade?

I don't see why not. I had that setup on my 62 Impala and it worked great.

My car originally had power drum brakes.

I actually removed them and put manual disc

I added an NOS power booster to my '65 factory drum brake setup and it was an excellent upgrade.

It took me a while to get used to power drums on my old 64 sedan. First few times I hit the brakes they would lock up as the pedal was soo touchy. I preferred manual brakes with drums and such a light car. I used an NOS factory booster and install kit. JMO
