Steve's Nova Site is an automotive enthusiast website dedicated to the 1962 - 1979 Chevrolet Nova, Chevy II and Acadian automobiles. We work together to preserve, restore, drive, show, race and provide fellowship for these classic cars. This is one of the best places to find information about parts, rebuilding, restoration and racing. This website is not affiliated with GM, General Motors or Chevrolet in any capacity.
I've been lurking on the boards for some time now, mostly looking at everybody's pictures.
I finally got myself a nova to start working on. It's a 1963 400 series sports coupe with an inline 6. Good solid bones and runs but everything is 50 years old and will be slowly replaced or upgraded.
I'm looking forward to learning more from everybody and sharing my experiences as I progree through my build.
Thanks in advance for any help and experience people can share with me.
to Steve's Nova Site!! It's always nice to get another 63 owner on the site!! Lots of information and parts to be found here!! If you want, check out the thread "Project 63 Engine Swap has started" in the 1st gen non-tech section. That's my current project!!
It's going to be a cruiser. My immediate plans are to replace the worn out springs, upgrade to 5-lug, disc brake conversion, and replace the stock control arms. I figure those upgrades should improve the driving experience significantly.
