Relax, it is amusing.
If you would be around here for as long and as much as I am you would know that problems like this, unless they effect everyone are for the most part, not site related problems. Just because you think that you visit a number of other boards that are running the same software, and they are running fine, doesn't mean the problem is here. These other boards may not have the advertising, etc that are here.
The fact that you think that it is this site only, and without you providing more information there isn't much that can be do in your situation.
Here is what you can do if you would like.
1. Clear your internet cache completely.
2. Reboot your computer.
3. Perform a full virus scan of your computer, deleting and/or quarantining all viruses.
Then proceed with collecting some information from your computer.
1. Operating system and Browser version.
2. If you are running any add ons. ie. adblocking, extra toolbars, etc...
I just checked and today server load times are not as fast as I have seen them in recent days...but the site is fast for me right now. As well, spyware, trojans and etc have a habit of slowing down someones system (there are a lot of redirect, viruses). You may also want to search the internet to see what settings you can change in your browser to speed your system up.
