200R4 to LS

I am wanting to mate up a 200R4 to a LS more than like a 5.3. What challenges am I going to be facing in the future. What am I going to need.

I am looking at purchasing a edlebrock intake manifold and wiring harness PN: 7118.

I think the price is the same or close to it on Summit.

This is going to be going into a '62 400 Sport Coupe.

Well I just did this swap in my 65 you will need a new crossmember to start with, Also a flywheel to mate the LS to the 2004r you can get that from TCI you will have to fabricate or purchase http://www.bowtieoverdrives.com/cata...BCAT&CATID=WA5
with out this you will burn out the transmission in a few 100 miles, with that they dont tell you that you need the small small cam throttle body as well. other than that a lock up switch for the converter as well! other than that easy swap!
Never mind I didn't see your going carb route! just make sure you set the TV cable correct!

Did you have to get a different oil pan? I still have the factory sub frame but plan to buy a new heidts sub frame in the spring with my tax return.
