62 nova steering

Has anyone installed an ididit column that you had to cut the steering shaft on a stock manaul steering box

Yes you will have to cut the steering shaft as it is one piece with the box. You will need to leave enough shaft so that you can connect the column to the box with a coupler.

LOL...yeah, Chuck has done a few, and he also sells the parts you need. You would be looking for a 36 spline to double D joint. You have to grind the steering shaft to fit, the other end is already made to 36 spline...
