Hey all, I have been doing some research the past year, and have had some bad luck finding if procar by scat makes a rear cover for 3rd gen novas. Unfortunately they dont, only for the camaro. I recently wrote them an etensive email on the benefits they would have with all of the people wanting these covers. I send them a few links of some threads in various nova sites to show proof.
They offered for me to send them my current skins, and in about 6-8 weeks they will develope and manufacture a rear seat cover for the 3rd gen nova!! They are excited to start production because there is a lot of buzz with us nova guys to complete our interior!
Leave comments below and I can give more details if you want, but I thought I would just share so everyone knew the good news!!
Hey all again, I was able to talk with scat again. They will receive my skins later next week and will start the Developement, which will take 8-12 weeks. I earlier said 6-8 which was incorrect. So stay tuned, as far as price I was advised that the camaro ones are retailed anywhere $150-$180, so the nova ones should rang somewhere in that range however subject to changes throughout development. Pass on the news to all your sites, this is soooo much more convenient and cost effective than going to your local shop.
I only have a couple places to choose from here where I live, and It would be much more convienent to just have them made and know that it will be the exact material and pattern.
Anymore info on these seat covers? I have white Procar seats in my 72 and was hoping they would make a rear cover to match. I bought my seats on craigslist for 200 bucks and changed my interior around them, doesn't look too bad but I would like the rear seat pattern to resemble the fronts.
For Your Info. I got with ProCar about making rear seat covers for the first generation. They said they were interested but needed an original seat cover to design and develop from. Same deal as the third gen.
