Ls Wire Harness Rewire Service..Has anyone used before?

Found this while stumbling through eBay. Has anyone used this vendor before?
He seems pretty reasonable and has 100% positive feedback.

I have not used that vendor before. But his price seems really cheap. Other guys are selling just the relays for just over $100 by itself. I'm sure he is buying all the plugs and relays in bulk so that is a huge savings for him.
JMHO you should do your own. you will learn a lot about your motor this way and it will only take you a day to get it done. Read the sticky by TomM. Great information on doing your own.

Whatever you decide good luck!

I wouldn't do it for that If you want it nice and clean it really should be done on the car with everything in place so all the breakouts are placed well, the correct shape and length etc. With Ratwagons I built the engine harness half on the engine stand, then the under dash portion was mocked up, measured, removed, modified, reinstalled and finished in the car. It took me about 40 hours to do all the wiring.

Yes it is for sending out your harness and you pay shipping there and back. Turnaround time is 3-4 weeks or sooner

He also flashes ECM's for $100
He also services after the sell

If you do the Harness & ECM combo he will do a performance tune for no charge
He will beat anyones advertised price
The phone number he has listed is 479-696-7778 (shop)

Good point Burke! I would guess a guy can get relativly close when doing the harness on a bench, just hearing from people in general that have had their harness converted or made...its for the most part been positive.
I suppose this fellow is a one man show with no overhead. If he can make at least $20 per hour, thats almost 12 hours of labor for the price. He has also banged out a few so he has it down to a science in a sense.

Mine is coming along very well ... I'm now fabricating the exhaust system. I've photographed the complete build and customization from front to back, but I don't know if anyone else will want to see a Wagon that was a Drag car that has been extensively changed to become a daily driver.

I was planning on purchasing a EFI harness from http://psiconversion.com/ which are excellant and Rodney @ SpareECM.com is going to do my ECM. I know that I can do my own harness if I wanted to, and maybe on another project I will, but right now I've been pushing so hard to get this car done so I can have it to drive.

To add to the question about the harness. When someone would re-wire the harness what happens to the OBII port? Is it just eliminated?
Ive had a programmer for my Dodge ram to change timing, shift points etc. Is there some kind of software out there to do the same thing with a laptop with a stand alone harness if the OBII port is retained? Is the program expensive???

Ive heard of such programs for laptops but havent really seen it or knew anyone that has done

You still need the OBDII. Most times its not included with the dropout. If I remember right, there's one orange line to it, two grounds, and one line that runs to the PCM. You can find new OBDII ports with wire leads on eBay.

You need the ODBII to tune the car, period. Some folks charge extra to install one, (haven't figured that one out yet).....

Yes, there are companies that offer laptop based software such as HP Tuners, EFI Live just to name a couple. They are very pricey, and you can literally burn up and engine if you aren't careful. They are not for everybody. I have over 1K dollars in software and training and have yet to scratch the surface of tuning, but I am learning every day......
