Hey gurus, what is the biggest wheel and tire combo I can stick under the rear of a stock 1969 Nova?

15x7 4.5"bs or 15x8 5.5" bs with a 275/60. Depends on your car.

I'm ready to order wheels and have been doing some research on this site. I'm most likely going with a 15x7 4.25bs in the rear with a 255/60 (maaaaaybe a 70 series though i think that's gonna make it sit a drop high.

In the front I'll use 15x7's again with a 225/60. Was also considering 14's up front but there's something about that mix match thing that I don't like.

Instead of guessing why not just build a wheelhouse measuring tool to be sure. In the sticky section there is a post that shows how to make a very inexpensive measuring tool. This way you can rest assured that the wheels you have will fit your car.
