Turbo 350 rebuild cost ?

I was wondering if anyone has recently had a turbo 350 transmission rebuilt at a transmission shop and if so what did they charge you. The reason i was asking is because i got mine yesterday and and he charged me $805.00 but i got a complete rebuild and a new street/strip stall converter. do you think i was overcharged because i have heard of some of the rebuilds costing like $1300.00. I always thought that a rebuild would only be 4 or 5 hundred dollars but i was just going on what people told me that had priced them years back. I dont know anything about transmissions thats why i am asking. He said he replaced valves in the valve body and pumps so i guess it was a complete rebuild. just let me know guys Thanks...

Ben

Sounds about right with the extra goodies you got.

A basic rebuild around here runs $600.

Thanks!!! i really had no idea of what to expect and i was just making sure i wasnt getting overcharged. To be honest he SUPPOSED to be a good buddy of mine and he originally told me it was $805.00 but he really actually charged me $605.00 so i guess i made out pretty good.

Sounds about right to me. Around here its about $500 for a basic rebuild without a torque converter. I spent about $1000 on mine to beef it up.
