MSD has a list of campatible coils. I found the big yellow Accel works good, also on MSD7a. But check the list to see what you like.

I recently went with the blasterSS coil. When I talked to MSD they said the SS has a higher current/temp spark than the other blaster coils, although it is a shorter duration spark. According to my tech the higher temp helps combustion slightly more than the longer duration. I have no way of verifying that but I'm happy with my SS.

i

took off a blaster 2 , and went to the Accel ,, i don't know if the blaster 2 was weak ,, but it was a noticeable difference,, i had to sell the car not much longer after that ,, but it sounded alot better , it would not crank with the ignition on after that ,, had to hit the starter then hit the ignition , it started instantly ,, just had alot stronger attitude ,,
