V8 alternator wiring

What is the proper way to run the three wires for the alternator in a 69 Nova with a V8. I am currently in the process of swapping in a V8 in favor of an I6. The I6 alternator is on the drivers side and it is on the passengers die on a V8. I do not think the wires will be long enough so I know I'll have to lengthen them but just need to know how they ultimately should route to the alternator.

Depends on the brackets you are using. Since you are installing the V8, I'm assuming that originality isn't important. Given that, there are brackets that will mount the alternator in pretty much any location you want. Pick the bracket setup first, worry about routing the wiring later.

I have the original style bracket that puts it on the passenger side but would rather have it on the drivers side. I also have power steering. Can I put both the alternator and PS pump on the drivers side?

Here's some food for thought...no connection to the company, they just have a boatload of different bracket setups:
