Cool Ford 8.8 rear end fit a 63 coupe?

Here is the quote from craigslist:

"ford 8.8 rear end, geared with 4:11 gears and a locker, dics brake kit, ready to bolt up"

I need to know if this reare end will bolt up to my 63. I'm running a TH350 trans and a 305 cu in motor.

Thanks for all your help...

What is it out of? Mustang, ranger, f150, explorer, expedition? None are a direct bolt in, explorers can be narrowed on one side to fit quite nice.

We have a thread on modifying the Explorer rear end in Best of PT archive.
It will not "bolt up" into your car. The Mustang rear end is coil spring.

You need to know how wide it is to see if it will go under your Nova.

I am seeing more and more chrysler 8 3/4 rear end swaps. Just a matter of finding the correct width, even the leafs are in similar locations.

So are the mid to late 60's mustang 9" rears and the lincoln versilles. Also some bronco 9" rears as well.
