SBC Dipstick ? is there a seal?

Is there a seal or gasket of some type made for the stock dipstock?

No

It's a soft press fit.

Most use a little sealer.

The other day I noticed my block is machined with a concave halfround and I saw the inline dipstick question I thought I would ask.

Thanks for the help - i'll just add some silicone around the base of it again.
