Edelbrock carb, how do they work

I searched a few places but how does a 650 edelbrock carb work

There's two screws in the front of the carb...They adjust the mixure...To the right is lean...To the left is rich....adjust the screws one at a time..Turn the first screw to the right untill the car acts as if it wants to die..Then turn it counter clockwise till the idle sounds good...then do the same to the other one....That is for a lean setting..THen set your idle RPM's around 800+ rpm...Then you can reset the mixure again if you feel the need...Thats how I set my 600.........

hey

thanks for your help Boys, ya the nova needed to be tuned, almost stall on a take off even when it was warmed up for awhile
