A few of us used to go.
Get there early and take up the parking spots over by the building to the west. That is where the shade will be. The regular guys get mad when you do that. We did that once and we head them grumbling all night long. It was so funny.

Make sure you cruise through the Gardens afterwords.

I like that cruise night but I leave to go back to Vegas on Sundays so I can't make it.
The manager even sings Elvis songs and does trivia questions for gift cards

Wades right, we went there as a group many times and one time Wade got there early and saved us some spots. We parked in the so-called good spots in the shade that the regulars like to grab but we got there first and boooy they cried like little childern all night, complaining to the manager, the whole bit! To see what I thought were mature men whining like 3 year olds that didnt get their lolly pops, cuz they had to park 5 spots over was hilarious! These are the ones you'll see on the grassy knoll with the canopy. They belong to the "Old Farts" group and boy you cant miss em! We kinna got burned out on the car show thing but Wades also right that the cruise thru Victoria Gardens is a lot of fun! The people there just love to see the Hot Rods come thru!

Yup, maybe it was being in the 110 degree heat of the car shows last summer that yes indeed burned me out! I learned from last year that showing up later when the sun isnt so intense is the way to go!

Well dogonit, we couldnt resist My little guy Kyle and I went down to the Red Robin car show! It was good to see Tom (Grannywagon) and his son Jacob. We got over there at around 7:30 and the car was running 200 After we left Red Robin and cruising thru the Gardens it got up to 210. How did your car run on the way home Tom? Did you have any trouble? Or did the temp stay below 250!

Yes Al the temp came down, like I figured. It just because that DONKEY left me sitting at the turn in light for 3 times and did not catch the temp rising. My wife walked over to sears and got me some coolaid for the radiator and I am fine now. Time for a bigger radiator???
