Steve's Nova Site is an automotive enthusiast website dedicated to the 1962 - 1979 Chevrolet Nova, Chevy II and Acadian automobiles. We work together to preserve, restore, drive, show, race and provide fellowship for these classic cars. This is one of the best places to find information about parts, rebuilding, restoration and racing. This website is not affiliated with GM, General Motors or Chevrolet in any capacity.
I signed up for a SCCA autocross event at El Toro Marine Base on 4/26 to see how my Nova will do turning corners. Participation in the event requires you to work on 4/25 for a couple hours, but 4/26 is FREE!
Spectators are free if anyone wants to come out and watch. If you are interested in signing up let me know via PM- there are limited spots left so the sooner the better.
Wow Bryan that sounds like a lot of fun, Any restrictions, Like what safety gear or roll bars are required??? Mine is totally stock, except sway bars and shocks, a little bit bigger than stock tires. Eric

Tech is the same as drag racing, but a Snell 95 helmet is required for everyone. You should pass no problem. Let me know if you want to go- even just to watch!
Im going to pass on this event, but i "really, really really" want to know if there will be another one coming up?
I need to take care of some other issues with my car first, Also will a Snell M2005 or SA2005 helmet pass? Thanks Eric.
