With everything going on this weekend (swap meet, March Meet, etc.), I think I know the answer to this, but anyone going to the Summit Series this Sunday? I will be running the Nova, finally a chance to get it dialed in without waiting an hour between runs . I will be at Famoso Saturday, but can't pass up this opp to finally do some serious tuning.
AND, it will be be my first try EVER at bracket racing . I have done a fair number of TNT runs, but never actual competition. I plan to enter the Sportsman class so I will be the chaser instead of the chasee . Any advice from you guys who have been doing this for a while?

I was thinking about going also TNT only to see how the new Holley goes. One year I hit the swap meet first to get a replacement alternator and then made it to the track after I swapped it out and still got enough runs in to make it worth while.
Cool, hope to see you out there Chuck. Is there a cutoff time they stop taking entries? I plan to get there about 9 AM, but was wondering what happens if I don't make it until 10, would they still let me in?

I may make it out there too. What time do the gates open & close. How much to watch how much to run?? If it does not rain I will be there with or with out the wagon
When I hit the swap meet first I think it was the first year of the summit series and got there around 10, the next time I went it was busier like Mike said and they cut me off. I think 10 may be too late. But if your entering the series it MAY be different because they cut it off for the TNT people because then it ruins it for the guys running the series.
I beleive for TNT it is the same price as Thursday $20 covers it for driver and car.

Gates open at 7:30, tech starts at 8 AM, Driver meeting at 10 AM. Cost to spectate is $10, TNT is $20, to race is $55.

They do stop early sometimes Bob; try to be there early. We'll be in Bakersfield so you'll have to get someone else to take your picture.
RATS!! I just realized DST starts Sunday morning, and I will have to leave the house by 7 AM (which will really be 6 AM) . That's almost as early as I leave for work .
